April in review: Bradt's best bits

It's that time again...

As April draws to a close, we wanted to take a minute to catch you up on the past few weeks at Bradt.

We watched a solar eclipse with the help of Sheridan Williams's trusty guide, and celebrated the Easter weekend by kicking back with some of our favourite travel narratives.

We set a date for our anniversary event (18th September for those who missed it!) and revisited our list of the best safaris in Africa to help inspire our summer adventures.

Back in Europe, we took a journey through the best beaches in Latvia, learnt how to go wild swimming in Sweden and discovered the most interesting castles in Lithuania.

At HQ, we published the sixth edition of our guide to the Faroe Islands, as well as all of the longlisted entires to our 2024 New Travel Writer of the Year Competition.

Last, but definitely not least, Hilary Bradt commenced her book tour, speaking about her memoir Taking the Risk at the Oxford Literary Festival and the Royal Geographical Society North West. Information about her upcoming appearances can be found here.
